Justin Hardy

A lifelong Georgia resident based in Marietta, Justin Hardy earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He began his career in 1999 at CDH Partners, designing churches, schools, and medical/office projects across Georgia. After obtaining his Professional Engineer license, Justin became Mechanical Engineering Department Manager at Greenberg Farrow, a nationally recognized retail and restaurant design firm. There, he gained extensive experience in high-volume national account projects and secured professional registrations in over 40 states.

His portfolio includes work for brands such as Five Guys Burgers & Fries, Texas Roadhouse, Gap, IKEA, and Whole Foods Market, where he developed expertise in corporate design standards, multi-state code compliance, and sustainable design features, including radiant water heating, grey-water recycling, and LEED certification processes.

In 2009, Justin co-founded an MEP department under telecom firm PM&A before launching H+L Engineers, later reorganized as Justin Hardy Engineering. With Guido Inoa Alvarez as an equal partner, the firm rebranded in 2021 to Converge Engineering—expanding its mission to deliver quality, cost-effective, and responsive MEP design services to clients nationwide
